Thanks to our guest mom Ashley, we are learning how she created this classic blue and white Airplane inspired nursery for her son. The inspiration partly comes from their vintage wedding theme and we think that is a very special way to combine two important milestones in their life together and also a great way to reuse some of the special decor they had at their wedding. We are crushing hard on the accent wall and the classic details of the airplane blueprints! Disclosure: this post contains some affiliate links. “The inspiration for the nursery comes from being a military spouse. My husband is a lieutenant in the United States Coast Guard. We recently moved to the Atlanta area and bought our first home. We often travel all over the country to see family and friends several times a year. I’m a natural lover of ALL THINGS vintage and love traveling. We wanted something unique to us, and since we had a vintage travel theme incorporated in our wedding before, it seemed perfect.
I found the vintage airplane blueprint prints on pinterest through another blog and had them printed at Office Depot. Bought the frames at Michaels during one of their frame sales.
Here is where I found everything in the room!
Cube bookshelf, baskets in bookshelf, wall shelf above it, airplane wall hooks, globe on wall shelf, glider, ottoman, changing pad cover: Target
Crib bedding, Hanging white airplanes: Pottery Barn
Rug: Amazon
Big metal R, Frame the map is in, and wall art to the right of the crib: Hobby Lobby
Airplane clock on shelf: Ross
Suitcase next to crib, the old books, vintage scale: Goodwill
Airplane drawer knobs: Home Goods
I really pieced this room together slowly over the last few months buying things here and there. I really love how it all came together.
I’m a self-proclaimed decorator. I really love watching things come together and have a knack and eye for colors.”
Thank you to Ashley for sharing this adorable nursery with us!

Hi! Where did you get the dresser that’s under the changing pad?
Where did you purchase the map above the crib?
