Ahh Second trimester! The honeymoon phase of pregnancy. It’s often referred to as the best time during your pregnancy for so many reasons. Hopefully you left the morning sickness back in the first trimester and you aren’t super uncomfortable like you get in the 3rd trimester. For me I had a very rough first trimester dealing with hg. By week 17.5 I was finally passed it THANK GOD! I was finally ready to enjoy this pregnancy and get excited about this precious little bundle of joy growing inside my belly. One of the coolest things about second trimester is the fact that you get to feel your baby moving for the first time. It’s one of the most amazing feelings! The second trimester is usually the time you get to find out the gender of the baby if you choose!

This trimester we went to Disneyland Paris for my little one’s 4th birthday! I was about 27 weeks when we went so pretty much at the very end of my second trimester. I will admit I was super worried about going for a few reasons. First, we have never been to this location before so it was a completely new park to learn. Second, I was really nervous about holding everyone back. You can pretty much expect that you will be walking a lot when you go to Disney. Lots of waiting around as well. I was super worried I would be too tired and would need to take a break every 5 minuets. Luckily it really wasn’t that bad. Yes we did a ton of walking but it was pretty easy to find spots to sit and wait while my husband and little one went on a ride. Yes being pregnant at Disney has some positive and negatives. You aren’t allowed to go on all the super fun rides but you do get to get a pregnancy pass which allows you to cut a lot of the big line for the rides and shows your allowed to go to! That was pretty awesome! We even got to cut the line for a lot of the meet and greets. That was a total win! Also the second trimester is the perfect time to start a baby registry if you haven’t already! I like starting one early so that I can take my time to explore and research all the products we really need. I don’t tell anyone about the registry until later so that I can really work on my list. Amazon Baby Registry is the best way to make a registry since you have access to so many products and great reviews! Amazon has everything you need and it’s easy and so fun to create your registry. They also always offer great deals and discounts when you purchase off of your registry 🙂 Click here or the banner to start your own registry!
Set of Weights– The second trimester is a great time to get in some exercise. I love doing simple and safe workouts with weights. I stick to 5 – 8 lbs just because that is what I feel comfortable with. During the second trimester I finally get a little burst of energy so doing a little work out is perfect. Find this great set here.
Cute Pregnancy Top– Second trimester is a great time to start enjoying this pregnancy and showing off that bump! There are so many cute pregnancy tops. I love this Preggers top with little feet on the belly part! It is super cute and what a great way to show off that belly! You can get this one here.
Water Bottle– I will admit I’m the worst about drinking water and I’m not just talking about during pregnancy. I’ve never been the type to drink enough water. I’ve really been trying to work on this. My one thing to get myself drinking more is a great water bottle that keeps my water super cold. This bottle is awesome and does the trick!
Pregnancy Pillow– Second trimester is when the belly starts growing. One thing I can’t live without is a very comfy pregnancy pillow! I need to have it in order to have a good nights sleep. I love a long one and the bigger the better! I like to put part of it between my knees and then a part of it under my growing belly for the best comfort. Get this one here.
Pregnancy Workout Video– Now that the morning sickness is done and I finally have a little bit of energy, now is the perfect time to start a pregnancy workout. Not everyone can work out during their pregnancy. I can’t do a lot but I feel like an easy workout really helps me get the energy I need. This one is a great workout the I enjoy doing.
Mio Body Lotion– Nows the time to do a little pampering for yourself! I love using a special moisturizer for my body and belly during pregnancy. The Mio brand is wonderful for pregnant women. This cream is my favorite and helps keep my belly from getting itchy.
Tums– Oh heart burn!!! One of the not so fun parts about pregnancy. Heart burn can start in second trimester and usually kicks into high gear in third trimester for me. My doctor said I could take a tums when it gets really bad. It usually hits me at night when I’m trying to sleep. I guess this little one will have a lot of hair since they say the more heartburn you have the more hair your baby will have! I really like the berry Tums flavor of this one here.
Belly Bandit Pregnancy Shapewear– Ok so I didn’t use this the first time mostly because I didn’t know this was even a thing! After seeing so many celebrity moms gush over how much they love a good pregnancy shape wear I decided to try it out this time around. It is great for wearing under dresses during your pregnancy. It gives you that little bit of extra smoothness. I’ll admit that pregnancy can be hard especially when your watching the scale go up. I feel like this gives you that little boost of confidence moms need sometimes. I also like the little extra support around my growing belly. This one is the one I got and love!
