May is always a busy month in NYC. Everywhere you look you can find a food festival, celebration, trade shows, and countless other events. One of my most favorite events to attend in May is the NY Baby Show. It’s a great way to discover new brands and to test out a sea of strollers!
This year the show was held at a large event space at Pier 92. The event takes place on a weekend. Trust me, you will need the two days to check out all the amazing vendors! Whether you are expecting or if you are just looking to learn more about some awesome baby products then I highly suggest checking NY Baby Show out. Here are some of my favorite vendors from the show.
Evenflo had us tell our story about feeding our little ones. I was happy to share that I did both pump and formula.
I’m so in love with all of these prints! Lulu Baby has very stylish items for your baby. This might be my most favorite find at the show.
One of my current favorite strollers. The UPPAbaby G-luxe.
It was a pleasure to learn about this wonderful charity called Cookies for Kid’s Cancer.
This was the top of the line for bike trailers by Thule. So many great features and very comfortable for your little one. They really thought of everything.
This year I attended as press and got to spend some relaxing time at the lovely Momtrends Press Lounge. They offered delicious lunch and a table for crafting featuring a great book on hand lettering (which I could totally use) called DIY Hand Lettering. My most favorite part about the lounge? The wonderful complementary back massage of course! Much appreciated especially when you are used to carrying around an almost 38 lbs toddler! I think every mom deserves a little back massage time to time.
After hanging out in the lounge I was off to check out all the wonderful vendors and to learn about their new products. There were a few European brands that I was thrilled to see breaking into the US market. I spend most of the year living in Europe so I’ve been spoiled getting to enjoy these wonderful European baby brands so I am so happy they are coming to the states! Some European brands to check out……..
JoJo Maman Bébe is a wonderful UK brand that both moms and babies can happily enjoy!
This Babymoov weekend bag is perfect to use as your hospital bag.
Babymoov is a French company that just recently expanded to the US market. They offer so many wonderful products such as diaper bags and food processors.
Baby Ota is a beautiful and thick wrapping blanket that the lovely mom and founder created when she wasn’t able to find anything similar to the one she had as a baby back in the Czech Republic.
Jané is a company from Spain that offers beautiful strollers with amazing suspension. Perfect for traveling over all the cobble stones!
I always love meeting other mompreneurs. At the event it was great to meet the mom’s and dad’s behind many of these products featured at the event. I enjoyed hearing their stories usually about how their child inspired their product. I always say that the best baby products are created by real moms! Here are some of my favorite mompreneurs I met from the show!
Tray Amigo was created by two mom friends who decided something had to be done about things falling off of tray.
A super cute company called CrazyBump, founded by husband and wife to help pregnant women be more comfortable by allowing them to sleep and safety rest on their growing belly.
This mom created Nested Bean to help babies feel more connected to their mom’s touch.
There were so many expecting moms at the NY Baby Show and so many beautiful moms with their little ones! Check out our FAM Street Style post here to see some of the lovely moms from the event!
The event was very baby friendly with set ups throughout the space for diaper changes and nursing. The Dad’s Lounge was adorable! It was a place for dads to hang out and learn some new dad tricks.
I personally have this printer and love it! I got to print out a picture of my daughter at the show! Happy Mommy!
There was also a few seminars each day. They had everything from Canon teaching you how to capture the best photos of your kids and family to Jamie Grayson (The BabyGuy) giving his best tips on parenting and what products parents really need.
Another awesome part of the NY Baby Show is the Stroller Test Track. It’s the absolutely perfect way to see how the stroller you have been eyeing works on all different terrains. I kinda wish they had this test track in all baby stores that sell strollers!
I would highly suggest checking out the show if your expecting or have a little one. It’s a great way to learn about all the different products out in the market. Check out The NY Baby Show for info on the next show.
