It’s Happy Hour with FAM time and we are turning green! Get ready for a great St. Patrick’s Day celebration with these tasty treats that you and your friends will truly enjoy. We have collected four great drinks that will be sure to put you in the spirit of this fun holiday. We have even added ways to make them kid friendly so the young ones can take part in the fun. Get your shamrock on and remember, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s day! Enjoy!
1. The Boozy Shamrock Shake: This delicious shake will be a perfect treat for this holiday. Best part is that Lisa also shows you how to make this yummy recipe vegan friendly! To make this shake kid friendly just leave out the peppermint schnapps and add just some peppermint extract instead. (via cookingwithcurls)
2. The Shamrock Sour: If you aren’t a cream or coffee lover then this drink is for you! It’s extra yummy and also easy to make. Courtney even shows you how to make the adorable DIY Shamrock stirrers. To make this one kid friendly just use ginger ale with some green food coloring. (via pizzazzerie)
3. Minty & Boozy St. Patty’s Day Iced Coffee: This one is for my big coffee lovers. This drink might just be the most perfect drink to start off your St. Patty’s day. It’s made of brewed coffee, creamer, whisky, and some peppermint extract. This drink can be hard to make kid friendly because of all the coffee so instead make iced hot coco with a little bit of peppermint extract and then just add some whip cream. (via foxes loves lemons)
4. Boozy St. Patrick’s Day Milkshake: This is Amazing and a Must try! It’s made with coffee ice cream, Irish cream and Irish whiskey. Yum! This recipe can be a little tricky making it a kids version because of the ingredients. Instead of coffee ice cream you can change it to a chocolate or vanilla ice cream milkshake. Leave out the Irish cream and Irish whisky of course and just add whip cream and green sprinkles to make it festive and kid friendly for the holiday. (via floatingkitchen)
Which drink will you be making?
They all look delicious and I think I might just need to try each one!!
